HON. OGUNLEYE COMMISSIONS LANDMARK PROJECTS IN IKENNE LOCAL GOVERNMENT

Ikenne Local Government celebrated a major milestone on Wednesday, July 10, 2024, as Executive Chairman Hon. Olusegun Ogunleye commissioned four transformative projects alongside his dedicated team. This achievement marks a significant step forward in delivering the dividends of democracy to the community.


Hon. Ogunleye expressed his gratitude to the State Governor for the opportunity to serve and make a positive impact on the lives of the people. He reiterated his vision of providing focused and qualitative governance, as well as essential infrastructure, to the Local Government.

The commissioned projects include:

- Marriage Registry, Ikenne Local Government
- Borehole Water Project at Esisa, Ikenne
- Imobido Health Centre, Iperu
- Asphalt Laying of 350m Market Road, Irolu

These projects are expected to significantly improve the standard of living in the communities, providing vital services and infrastructure to the people.

Hon. Ganiu Hamzat, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, praised the collaborative efforts that made these projects possible and highlighted the Governor's dedication to advancing Ogun State.

He urged the people of Ikenne Local Government to continue supporting Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun CON as they strive for greater achievements and progress.

HRH Oba Sikiru Adeilo Adeyiga (The Onirolu of Irolu) and HRH Oba Lukman Salami (Ebi Of Idena) commended Hon. Ogunleye and his team for their visionary leadership and commitment to development, he also expressed his gratitude to Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun CON for delivering dividends of democracy to the grassroot.

The Secretary to the Local Government, Mr. Rotimi Osinowo, thanked all attendees for creating time despite the weather challenges and wished them safe journey home.
