CHRISTIAN ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA (CAN) IPERU REMO BRANCH APPRECIATED GOD AS THEY OBSERVED ANNUAL PRAYER SESSION FOR YEAR 2024.

The Executive Chairman, Ikenne Local Government, Hon. Olusegun Ogunleye appreciated God Almighty, for his protection and mercy upon our lives throughout year 2023 and for making us to see this year. It is very important and essential to start a new year with prayer to the Almighty God.
He also appreciated the Christian association of Nigeria (CAN) for organizing this befitting prayer session for the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON and the entire people of Iperu Remo. On behalf of His Excellency, I welcomed everyone present here into the New Year 2024, this Year will mark unprecedented progress and development in Iperu Remo, Ikenne Local Government and Ogun State as a whole.

Furthermore, he stated that God has never let us down despite the difficulties and challenges of year 2023 and with the help of the state Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON, we still recorded some memorable events and achievements done. 

 Hence, these achievements are as a result of the support and cooperation you gave to us last year which has helped us to deliver dividends of democracy to the grassroot which is our vision for the State.

He implored all sons and daughters of Iperu Remo, home and aboard to be committed to God's work this year 2024, and also give their maximum support to the government for a better development.
Chief Pegba Otemolu, APC political Leader, thanked God Almighty for the Grace to see this New Year, he appreciated CAN for the prayer session for His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON and wished everyone a prosperous new year.


The President of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Pastor Ola Vincent encouraged everyone that we should all be focused in calling on God which is very crucial, just like the Israelites who called upon God when they were in captive in the land of Egypt. He implored all dignitaries present to emulate the Israelites in all their doings and he prayed God will always answer them whenever they call on him.

Ven. Shedrack. O Ajileye led the prayer session, He prayed for Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR, CON, Governor of Ogun State and Nigeria respectively.

Finally, he thanked God and his Excellency for this great opportunity given to CAN which will not be taken for granted. I pray this year 2024, God will continue to bless us all.
