OLOYE BABAJIDE OYETI BECOMES THE CHAIRMAN OF IPERU MICROFINANCE BANK LTD.
The Board of Directors of Iperu Microfinance Bank Ltd has appointed Oloye Babajide Oyeti as the new chairman of the Bank. At the board meeting of the bank held on the 9th of August, 2024, Oloye Oyeti was unanimously elected after the retirement of the former chairman, Mr M.B. Shosanya, FCA. According to the corporate governance guidelines, Oloye Babajide Oyeti shall be presented to the shareholders of the bank at the next Annual General meeting slated for Saturday, 5th October 2024 at the head office of the bank in iperu. The new chairman is expected to guide the company through the next phase of the transformation and repositioning of the bank. This phase shall include the recapitalisation of the bank by bringing new investors, upgrading to a local government wide licence that allows it to open new branches all over the towns in Ikenne Local Government, improving the service delivery and exploring new opportunities that exist within the area.
