THE GOVERNOR DAPO ABIODUN LED ADMINISTRATION WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE ENABLING ENVIRONMENT FOR BUSINESS TO THRIVE; CITISIDE ASSURES CONSTITUENTS

Otunba Bisi Oyedele-Citiside, Member, Ogun state House of Assembly representing Ipokia/Idiroko State Constituency has called on notable sons and daughters both home and in diaspora to come home and add their quota in areas of investment to boost the socioeconomic sector of their immediate society. 

Citiside made the call at the Commissioning of Asotech Owolowo Integrated Concept Limited's Headquarters in Agosasa, Ipokia Local Government. 

In a speech delivered by him as the chairman of the occasion, he made known the need to boost the economy of the Local Government by setting up large and small-scale enterprises. An extract from his speech reads, "Let me sincerely congratulate the Chief Executive Officer, Asotech Owolowo Integrated Concept Limited, Mr Salam Akinlade for his ability to think outside the box to become the first individual to establish a privately owned financial Outfit of this mode in Ipokia Local Government". He further eulogized the contributions of Chief YAB Olatunji and Chief Joel Kayode Adebowale (Baba Adebo), (both of blessed memories) on the establishment of community-based financial institutions therein. 

Also, he spoke extensively on his plans for a massive empowerment program for his constituents: "In the coming months, I will be flagging off the Oko-Owo Citi Initiative, which will provide support grants for market women. Similarly, the Citi Oko Opo (Citi the widow’s husband) empowerment programme, which will provide succour to the widows in our local government would also be unveiled."

Furthermore, he described Ipokia local government as one of the few local governments in Ogun state that are blessed with men and women of calibre: "Let me state that our land is truly blessed with men of timbers and calibres, therefore; Permit me to call on my brothers and sisters; both at home and in diaspora, who are practically excelling in their field of endeavours to please come home and add their quota to the development of our community through major investments plans. Ogun State Government under the leadership of Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR CON, will continue to ensure an enabling environment for all businesses to thrive."

Conclusively, he promises to always promote local content by patronizing goods and services produced domestically in his represented constituency and enjoined everyone to do so in order to multiply our fortunes and strengthen our Naira against other currencies.
