Ogun Assembly Speaker, Oluomo gets honorary membership of OOU Alumni association

In appreciation of his love for education, the Speaker, Ogun State House of Assembly, Rt Hon (Prince) Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo has been bestowed with a honorary membership of the Olabisi Onabanjo University Alumni Association.

The event which was In commemoration of the institution's 40th anniversary and grand reception for its immediate past and present Vice chancellors, was held in Abeokuta, the Ogun state capital. 

While decorating the speaker , vice chancellor of the ivory tower, Professor Ayodeji Agboola noted that the Speaker deserved the Award due to his love for humanity and resilience in public service. 

Responding, Rt Hon Oluomo who was also the chairman of the occassion appreciated the award describing it as another challenge and call to service. 

Chairman of the Abeokuta branch of the Association, Chief Lukman Abdullahi noted that "though the speaker is not an Alumni of the institution but is always ready to contribute his all to the progress of Humanity"
