WORLD ISESE DAY CELEBRATION 2023, YORUBA YOUTHS COUNCIL CALL FOR PEACE, LOVE AND PROMOTION OF YORUBA CULTURE, NORMS, VALUES AND TRADITIONS

The apex Yoruba youth interest group: Igbimo Odo Yoruba Lagbaye; Yoruba Council of Youth Worldwide (YCYW) ogun state Council under the AsojuOdo Sunday Adebowale felicitates with all Sons and Daughters of Yoruba land, Our Kabiyesi and all Traditional Practitioners in Yoruba Land, Nigeria and globally on the special occasion of this year’s World Iṣẹṣe Day celebration, while using the opportunity to call for the promotion of Omoluabi attitudinal change while reiterating on the importance of peace and unity in Nigeria, while Extolling the virtues of sacrifice of the season for the general wellbeing of our people. As contained in the Ifa Corpus (Odu Ifá) Ògúndá Ọ̀wọ́nrín (Ògúndẹ́ẹ̀rín).

We, therefore, gather as a united Yoruba community to celebrate ISESE DAY, a festival that pays homage to our rich cultural heritage, traditional values, and the essence of our spirituality.This year's ISESE DAY holds a special significance as we commemorate and eulogize the exemplary leadership and administration of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
The administration's support for cultural events and preservation has strengthened our identity and sense of belongings.
Greetings to Traditional Rulers, Culture Ambassadors, and All Yorubas: As we celebrate ISESE DAY, we extend warm greetings to all traditional rulers, culture ambassadors, and Yoruba people across the globe.Your commitment to upholding our cultural values and heritage is deeply appreciated. Through unity and cooperation, we continue to preserve and pass down the legacy of our forefathers to the generations to come.
Today, on ISESE DAY 2023, we celebrate not only our cultural heritage but also the remarkable achievements of Governor Dapo Abiodun's administration. The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) Ogun State Council reaffirms its dedication to promoting unity, youth empowerment, and the preservation of our cultural identity. As we continue on this path, we embrace a future where our traditions flourish alongside progress and development.
The State Council Chairman - AsojuOdo Sunday Adebowale further urges the traditionalists and other non traditionalists alike to jointly pray for peace, tranquillity, justice and unwavering love for one another irrespective of whatever differences. He also seized the medium to solicit for His Excellency President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR, support on the establishment of the National Council of Traditional Religion Practitioners Affairs.
As the umbrella body of all Yoruba Youths organization worldwide “We must remain steadfast and committed to the cause of one indivisible and united Nation. Hence, let us use this occasion of this year's Iṣẹṣe day to revive the spirit of our progenitors and ancestors to offer ceaseless prayers for the present leadership of the country, states and communities; most importantly, our traditional institution.
We also use this medium to challenge our people to use the occasion of this Isese Day as an opportunity to pray for our dear Nation to rise again to its greater heights against all abnormalities of kidnapping, banditry and all sorts of menaces rampant in our society today.
We further urge all Omoluabi Youths Worldwide to continue projecting Yoruba culture and traditions in our ways of life as we have the best culture in the world, and by jettison immoral dressing and imbibe all Omoluabi ethics and norms....and shun all manners of thuggery, illicit drugs and other social vices.
Happy World Iṣẹṣe Day, Iṣẹṣe Lagba, Eèpàà Mọlẹ! And may our cultural roots remain strong and vibrant for generations to come.
