CONDOLENCE MESSAGE ON THE PASSING OF CHIEF (MRS) ALABA LAWSON BY YCYW OGUN STATE COUNCIL
With heavy hearts and deep sadness, we extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the late Chief(Mrs) Alaba Lawson, a distinguished educationist and an iconic figure in the Yoruba community, following her passing earlier today.
Chief (Mrs) Alaba Lawson was a beacon of light and inspiration, not only for the Yoruba people but for all of Nigeria. Her tireless efforts in the field of education have left an indelible mark on generations of students who passed through the Alaba Lawson Group of Schools. Her legacy will continue to shape the future of our nation through the lives she touched and the knowledge she imparted.
As a former National President of the Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines, and Agriculture (NACCIMA), Iyalode Egba and Iyalode of Yoruba land she demonstrated exemplary leadership and commitment to the economic advancement of our great nation. Her contributions to various sectors of our society have earned her respect and admiration across the board.
The Yoruba Council of Youths Worldwide (YCYW) Ogun State Council acknowledges her as the Iyalode of Yorubaland, a title that reflects her deep-rooted connection to our cultural heritage and her unwavering commitment to the Yoruba people and humanity.
In this moment of grief, let us come together to remember Chief (Mrs) Alaba Lawson for her outstanding achievements, her dedication to education, and her service to our community. ~
