In a phone conversation with NEIGHBORHOODMIC MEDIA correspondent, Adebayo (McAnelka), Dr. Olayinka Alausa stated that today's verdict from the apex court has effectively put an end to the series of legal disputes surrounding the governorship election that resulted in Mr. Sanwo-Olu's re-election.

The philanthropist from Epe emphasized that, with the conclusion of all these cases, Governor Sanwo-Olu should graciously accept his congratulations. He stated, "We are delighted that these legal challenges have been resolved. Now that it is completely settled, please accept my heartfelt congratulations."

The Supreme Court, in a decisive ruling, has affirmed Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the legitimate Governor of Lagos State. Justice Garba Lawal delivered the lead judgment, dismissing the appeal filed by Mr. Rhodes-Vivour and upholding the authenticity of Governor Sanwo-Olu's victory.

This confirmation by the highest court signifies a significant milestone in Babajide Sanwo-Olu's electoral journey, further validating the trust placed in him by the people of Lagos State.
