RCCG New Things Parish Elevated to Area Headquarters

In a historic moment, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), New Things Parish, Ogun Province 9, Awa Ijebu, Ogun State was officially commissioned as an Area Headquarters on July 21, 2024. The announcement was made during a special service attended by a team of esteemed pastors from various parishes.

The team, comprising Pastor Paul, in charge of Ogun Province 9, CSR Pastor Aderibigbe(AP/ICP), Elder Pastor Adeigbe (Church GROWTH) and others, brought the exciting news to the congregation. As a result, the church's name has been changed to RCCG New Things Area Headquarters, overseeing two parishes: Jesus Habitation Parish and Resurrection and Life Parish.

In their address, the pastors drew an analogy, emphasizing that just as a woman who doesn't bear children is considered barren, the new Area Headquarters should not remain fruitless. They charged the Pastor-in-Charge and members to intensify evangelism efforts, bring in more souls, and establish additional parishes under their umbrella.

In recognition of his dedication and leadership, the Shepherd in Charge of New Things, AP Akinmoji Alfred was upgraded from a Parish Pastor to an Area Pastor.

This milestone marks a significant step forward for the RCCG family, and the congregation is eager to embrace the challenges and opportunities that come with this new status.
