Hon. Jamiu Mohammed Asimi, a chairmanship candidate in Ikenne Local Government, Ogun State, has assured the residents that his administration will prioritize the people's needs and focus on local development. He seeks their support in the upcoming local government elections scheduled for November 16.

Asimi, the chairmanship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikenne Local Government, made this statement after completing the screening process at the Ogun State Independent Electoral Commission (OGSIEC) office in Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta. He emphasized that his manifesto includes projects aimed at benefiting the community and ensuring the welfare of its residents throughout his tenure as chairman.

Reflecting on the screening process, Asimi commended OGSIEC for its dedication to organizing a free, fair, and credible election. He expressed confidence in the APC's ability to win the polls, citing the party's outstanding performance in the state under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun. Asimi believes that the APC's track record and the governor's impactful initiatives across all local governments will secure victory for the party on November 16. He is optimistic that the people of Ikenne will support him and ensure his success in the election.
