EMERGENCE OF COMRADE OLAMIDE LAWAL AS THE PRESIDENT OF APC YOUTH LEAGUE.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League is pleased to announce the emergence of the Special Adviser on Youths & Sports under the administration of Governor Dàpọ̀ Abiodun of Ògún State, Comrade Olamide Lawal as the consensus President of the Grade A Youth wing of our great Party, the All Progressives Congress Youth League [APCYL]. 

This landmark decision was made after a rigorous selection process, which involved consultations and consensus-building among the Southwest State Coordinator's, during their stakeholders meeting held on the 17th of February, 2024 at the Southwest Zonal Headquarters in Òṣogbo, Ọ̀ṣun State. 

Comrade Olamide Lawal brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to the ideals of the APC Youth League. With a proven track record of leadership and dedication to the party, he is well-equipped to lead the organization towards achieving its goals and objectives. As the consensus President, Comrade Olamide Lawal will spearhead efforts to mobilizing and engaging young people across the country, ensuring their active participation in the political process. His leadership will focus on empowering youth members, promoting their welfare, and advocating for their interests within the party and the wider society.

LL as he's fondly called, has outlined his vision for the APC Youth League, which includes:

1. Strengthening the party's youth wing: Comrade Lawal aims to build a vibrantly united and inclusive youth wing, that represents the aspirations and concerns of young people within the APC.

2. Youth empowerment and development: He plans to implement programs and initiatives, that will empower young people economically, socially, and politically, enabling them to contribute meaningfully to nation-building.

3. Advocacy and policy influence: Comrade Lawal will work closely with party leaders and policymakers, to ensure that the voices and perspectives of young people are heard and considered in the formulation of policies and decision-making processes.

4. Grassroots mobilization: Recognizing the importance of grassroots engagement, Comrade Lawal will prioritize efforts to reach out to young people at the grassroots level, ensuring their active involvement in party activities and campaigns.

The APC Youth League [APCYL] is confident that under his leadership, the organization will experience significant growth and make a lasting impact on the political landscape of Nigeria.
