He's been delivering life changing projects through the NEW GENERATION, a foundation he convened in 2018. The foundation has moved from 5 members to over 10,000 strong memberships and followership across Ogun state.
Wale Kuku and the foundation skillfully crafted several programs to touch several segments of the society. Some of them are Ipele Tokan, Iyaniwura, TecHandwork, Business first and more.
Through his initiatives, he empowers young people in the fields of technology, agriculture, and various vocational aspects. Like seeds planted in fertile soil, t them mnhhese opportunities grow and flourish under his guidance, creating a brighter future for the next generation.
These projects spread across several spheres of the community. Under Education, the foundation has trained over 300 teachers on using digital tools to improve quality of teaching and school administration. For the kids, they been able to enjoy 2 years of Summer Coaching with the best students winning scholarships. Over 800 students in Sagamu benefited from the free JAMB registration project. Another 500 have benefited from free Jamb tutoring.
A brilliantly conceived and cost effective School Upgrade program has commenced with 2 pilot schools in Ijebu Ode and Ijebu Igbo. It includes introduction of innovative digital tools for teaching, upgrade to marker boards and donation of laptops for effective school administration and records organization. This would in no means drastically improve the quality of learning in our prinary and secondary schools.
In securing Ijebu land, Wale Kuku and the New Generation built a robust cell for Amotekun, one of Ogun state's most reliable security outfit. More interventions are been planned for the Police, Amotekun, Vigilante and community involvement using Tech enabled tools.
Under his Wealth Creation Programs, Business First has been able to start and nurture 8 Agritech companies all powered by youths. These startups are focusing on Digitizing all aspects of farm extension services collectively introducing Farming As A Service, first of its kind in Nigeria. Already, these startups have cultivated 500 acres of farmland on a pilot basis.
NG Ride, a vehicle and bike hailing service would be launched any moment, helping to modernise the transportation network in Ijebu and it's surroundings. This startup is powered by Youths via the BusinessFirst program, which launched a contest for the best Ride Hailing Business plan.
The New Generation Foundation Agriculture Program has also raised 100 young farmers under the Modern Farmer program with a fast growing 1000 acre AgroCity at Ijebu Igbo.
Still on agricultural interventions, Farmers have received free inputs and seedlings through the Didako Idan program. This is an innovative program that enables farmers get extension services via simple phone calls and smartly executed by the Agritech startups.
Wale Kuku's programs have also greatly touched Artisans, market women and micro business owners with the issuance of business loans Loans through Ipele Tokan and iyaniwura. These are programs designed to support artisans like barbers, tailors, hairdressers and market/ micro business owners with loans, grants, trainings, regular information and market opportunities.
Not leaving our the under privileged and vulnerable, palliatives have been distrusted to several households in different local governments on an ongoing basis.
To add to the quality of solutions been proffered for the betterment of the Nation and to groom future leaders, he setup the New Generation Good Governance Center (N3GC), a group peopled by Professionals, captains of the industry, activists, academics etc. These center, which i am part of, has been designing, testing and putting together a very comprehensive and strategic blue print for Ogun State.
