Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) is a sexually transmitted infection that threatens the reproductive and general health of the female gender. HPV doesn't present any symptoms and thus can wreck its havoc for years without discriminating between old and young women, but the "good news" is that HPV can be prevented! Yes! Although there is no treatment for the virus itself, it can be prevented through vaccination. it is to this end that the Lagos State Government under the leadership of our empathic and amiable governor- Babajide Sanwo-Olu has advocated that every girl-child between the ages of 9years to 14years be vaccinated so as to prevent the 'ills' of HPV which are genital warts and cervical cancer. You are hereby enjoined to visit the nearest Primary Health Center for a free vaccination today! Parents and guardians are also advised to seize this opportunity to vaccinate their female child(ren) to ensure a cancer-free future! Dr. Olayinka Alausa Cares! Ho
